Dr. Amir Abbassi
Dr. Amir Abbassi
Dr. Amir Abbassi is a Licensed Professional Counselor- supervisor (LPC-S), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist-Supervisor (LMFT-S), and a Certified Sex Therapist by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). Dr. Abbassi completed his doctorate degree at the University of North Texas and continues to research and teach graduate courses at a regional institution of higher education. Dr. Abbassi’s clinical background includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He is a former president of the Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors. He also is a Clinical member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Dr. Dean Aslinia
Dr. Dean Aslinia
Dr. Dean Aslinia is a National Certified Counselor (NCC), a Board Certified Professional Counselor (BCPC), and a Licensed Professional Counselor- Supervisor (LPC-S). Dr. Dean completed his doctorate degree at the Texas A&M University-Commerce, specializing in marriage and family therapy. Dr. Dean’s clinical background includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. His focus areas include working with clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, as well as working with lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual (LGBT) individuals, addressing sexual and gender identity, treating sexual addiction and compulsions. Dr. Dean continues to research and teach graduate courses at a regional institution of higher education. Dr. Dean is currently serving as the President of Texas Association of Marriage and Family Counselors.

Ms. Erin Hall
Ms. Erin Hall, is a Masters student at Texas A&M University- Commerce pursuing her Counseling degree. Erin received her Bachelors in Child Development at Texas Woman’s University. Erin has been the Office Manager since 2012 and will cheerfully greet you when you walk in. She will be happy to assist you in scheduling appointments, answering questions about fees and insurance, and any other concerns you may have. Erin takes pride in making sure that your experience at New Horizons is a calm and enjoyable one. In her free time Erin enjoys reading books, going to the movies with her fiancé, and playing with her animals. Erin is a true people-person and loves to help, so feel free to give her a call and start your new beginning.
